Join me, Chef Nancy, in Santa Fe for an Holistic Culinary Retreat – hone your culinary skills, right along side a professional chef and the other retreat guests.
I will share the secrets of my Recipe for Health (aka Anti-Reaper Diet), so you can apply them while you vacation and return home with a lifestyle diet that tastes so rich, you’ll never think of it as a diet.
- Do you love to cook?
- Do you want to eat healthier (or know “someone” who needs to)?
- Would you like to learn how to turn any recipe into a “safe” dish, without sacrificing flavor?
- Do you love blue skies and clear air?
“After cooking for hundreds of clients with chronic and/or critical illness, I’ve learned a thing or two about switching out ingredients to promote healing, prevent disease and retain all the flavor and comfort we want from our food. That’s why I call this holistic cooking – because it feeds the body and the soul! Best of all, I can teach you how to do the same for you and your loved ones.” —Chef Nancy
- Got Autism or ADHD in your home? I will show you how to make fun foods safe.
- Been trying to lose weight, but can’t stomach another diet?
- Got Diabetes at home? Cancer? I will show you how to amplify flavor, in spite of compromised taste buds.
- Do your joints ache or are you chronically tired?
- Have you always wanted to visit (or revisit) Santa Fe and see what the Land of Enchantment is all about?
Food is Life. Food is pleasure. Food is comfort. Food is medicine. Food is poison. Sometimes you know right away when a food doesn’t agree with you. But mostly, we eat what makes us feel good, emotionally, without any thought to what’s happening inside of us, behind the scenes, until our health reaches a tipping point.
"Nancy Banner is amazing! I have learned so much from her through her 30 day program on anti-inflammatory cooking, her book with yummy and healthy recipes, her informative newsletters, and hearing her speak. She has so much information and presents it in a style that educates but doesn’t overwhelm. I’m glad Nancy is there to shed light on this important topic." –Carolyn Brown
Are you eating to live? That may sound like an obvious question, but if we go just a bit deeper, we realize that most of us eat unconsciously. We eat what’s convenient. We eat what comforts us and we eat what makes our taste buds happy. We eat what we know “because we always have”. And, sadly, it’s killing us.
"Nancy is incredibly passionate about building a new conversation around holistic health. She makes it simple to eat well with her delicious recipes and I know that she is going to make a big difference on this planet with her educational tools and resources.
I highly recommend her book and if you have the opportunity, work with Chef Nancy to create a plan for your best health." –Lisa Chell
You may have been wanting to make changes in your eating habits – congratulate yourself for that. But do you know what’s truly healing and what isn’t? More importantly, do you know how to make it taste better than what your taste buds expect?
"Nancy Banner is the advocate for good health and food preparation who takes it to the next level — the practical level, that is! We all know we should be taking better care of ourselves. Nancy gives us the strategies for getting it done. Her recipe book is excellent too — tasty and practical. Let Chef Nancy help you get your food choices and preparation "on track"." –Ginny McMinn

Your Retreat Hostess: Chef Nancy
Chef Nancy Banner, speaker, author and lifestyle diet coach, believes food should feed mind, body and soul, while balancing the inflammation largely responsible for most of today's un-wellness.
Owner and founder of The Holistic Kitchen, LLC, Chef Nancy has nourished hundreds of clients with wide ranging and life threatening health issues. Using food to bridge the gap between health and disease, she teaches individuals and chefs about the cause and effect between today's Standard American Diet (SAD) and how to use alternative ingredients to create a lifestyle diet that doesn't sacrifice comfort or flavor.
Her twisted recipes take the sting out of transition, make comfort foods "safe", and nourish mind, body and soul, to aid the body's natural healing mechanisms.
Chef Nancy's food service career spans 3 decades taking her from dude ranch to the Las Vegas Strip and beyond. She holds a BS in Hotel Administration and Restaurant Management from the Harrah Hotel College at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an AOS in Culinary Arts from Scottsdale Culinary Institute.
